The Film Studies Program offers the following graduate degrees and certificates:

PhD in Film Studies
(in conjunction with five Associated Departments)

Terminal MA in Film Studies

MA Certificate in Film Studies

PhD Certificate in Film Studies

Such certificate programs are available to all Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences (A&S) students in graduate MA or PhD degree programs and address the needs of both the student who will focus on film studies (as in a dissertation) and the student who wishes training in film studies as a subspecialty.

The courses and research paper required for each certificate provide the student with a coherent curriculum in film studies appropriate to the student's graduate level.
