Jonah Jeng


Jonah Jeng holds a BA in Film & Media Studies and Brain & Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester and is a PhD Student in the University of Pittsburgh's Film and Media Studies program. His interests currently include critical theory, apparatus theory, affect, horror, and Chinese-language cinema with a focus on Taiwanese film. Outside of academic work, Jonah enjoys writing film criticism for various outlets -- his writing has appeared in Paste Magazine, Reverse Shot, and The Film Stage -- and working through an ever-expanding backlog of films.
