Jonah Jeng


Jonah Jeng holds a BA in Film & Media Studies and Brain & Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester and is a PhD Student in the University of Pittsburgh's Film and Media Studies program. His research interests currently sit at the intersection of film aesthetics, neoliberalism, modernity, and questions of realism and alterity. Outside of academic work, Jonah enjoys writing film criticism for various outlets -- his writing has appeared in Paste MagazineReverse ShotThe Film Stage, and Fandor -- and working through an ever-expanding backlog of films.
