CONGRATS CLASS OF 2020!

Dear Film and Media Graduates,

The faculty of the interdisciplinary Film and Media Studies Program congratulates and celebrates you on the momentous occasion of your graduation from Pitt. You have participated in abroad experiences, undertaken research projects in archives, interned with local production companies, presented your research at conferences, worked on live broadcasts up at the Pete, put together campus TV shows, programmed your own film series, and made your own films. We have enjoyed watching, studying, and making films alongside you all and seeing you become smart, articulate, and engaged graduates. Moving images continue to be an important reflection of who we are as individuals, as societies, and as a world. We’re so happy to see that you are graduating with the tools and curiosity both to make and think critically about the moving images that surround us. We will miss you all as you begin this next phase of your lives, and we hope that you will stay in touch and share with us all the great things you go on to do.

Congratulations and all our best wishes!
