Bruno studies classical Hollywood, particularly studio-shot small town films. He is interested in the concept of Americana and how its cinematic representation acts upon real spaces, both in the US and abroad. In his MA, he wrote about the films of Henry King, and is now currently studying Hollywood’s hand-painted backdrops from the 30s, 40s and 50s.
